Let us hold to the Lord’s promise “Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a non existent thing” (Isaiah 41:12) in all the upcoming battles that we might encounter this year, 2016. Therefore, let us proclaim that through our faith in the precious blood of Jesus shed on our behalf we are in the new covenant; We are no longer under the influence of curses, but instead receive our blessings from the Lord, “And the wicked one does not touch him” (1John5:18) .. Sorcery, envy, and all evil powers in the spiritual realm shall not prevail against us. No matter how fierce the battles we face this year; in ministry, health, work, thoughts, relationships, or any other areas, we will continue to hold on to the Lord’s great promise, “fear not”
In the part that cites the promise “those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing”, we find this reassuring phrase “fear not” repeated three times.
The first time: If fear is due to fierceness of battles directed towards you, The Lord tells you “fear not” He will handle those that are gathered against you. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them—those who contended with you, those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing” (Isaiah 41: 10-12)
The second time: If you fear future events, having lost your peace with your mind being torn by conflicting thoughts, the Lord reassures you that He will hold your right hand to lead you step by step, “For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you” (Is. 41:13) He will lead you out of distress, crossing you over pits, opening doors before you, bringing you by a way that you did not know. (Is. 42:16) Just trust in him. Fear not! The Lord will control circumstances, subject others, and all who are in authority, even Satan for your sake, as long as you remain focused on Him.
The third time: If fear has overcome you due to your exceedingly limited abilities, the Lord says “Fear not, you worm Jacob… I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills like chaff.” (Is. 41: 14-15). The worm is a symbol of utter weakness, but the Lord’s promise is to transform this weak worm into a very strong threshing sledge … if you are facing high mountains of problems and hills of obstacles, then the Lord’s promise is that you will be like the threshing sledge with teeth that thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills like chaff, Who are you, O great mountain? You will be like chaff before us. We will see mountains disintegrate and hills turning into chaff in this New Year in Jesus.name.
We declare our faith that fear will not overcome nor move us this year. But by the work of the Holy Spirit in us we will submit to the leadership of the Lord and will resist sin whole heartedly. We will resist falling out of God’s will no matter what the sacrifices are. Whenever we feel afraid, we will go to the Lord asking Him to wash us, by His Word, from all fear, trusting that the Holy Spirit is working in our hearts to cleanse us from the filth of fear, worry, and anxiety.
Let us speak prophetically about the New Year
We thank the Lord for a year in which we will be released in His service and
Yield great fruit in the ministry
We pray that the tree yields its full strength!
In Jesus Name we proclaim we will bear forth a hundred fold fruit
Expect that the Lord releases you as he did with Timothy, “our brother Timothy has been released” (Heb. 13:23)
Lord release me from anything that, partially or wholly, hinders me from serving you!
This year, I will be a useful vessel … a vessel for glory not shame
We confess our faith that all things happening to us will be for the furtherance of the gospel
We will not be useless vessels, instead we will be vessels filled by the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit. News about us this year will be for the Lord’s glory and Satan’s disgrace!
Our faith confession for this year is that Satan will be disgraced in all his confrontations with us.
Those who contend with us shall be like nothing and shall perish, we shall seek those who are incensed against us and shall not find them.
The water shall cover all our adversaries, not one of them will be left (Psalm 106: 11)
Everything that annoys us will come to an end in Jesus Name!
Everything that stands against our joy, our peace, our purity shall diminish by time and eventually disappear… Those who war against us shall be like nothing like a non-existent thing!
I thank you Lord for a year of resolving battles, possessing our inheritance, and winning abundant spoils
Thank you, because the things I struggled with for many years shall be today like nothing, like a nonexistent thing.
And I declare my faith that this is a year of great spoils.
